since 2018, Kraft und Licht specialises in organising, curating, and producing their own events featuring outstanding audio-visual shows accompanied by extraordinary DJs and producers. Whether it’s a free party, club night, or full-scale festival, we bring unique light and sound concepts to various locations and venues. Sometimes independently, other times in collaboration with like-minded organisations to create experiences that go beyond the usual. Our close attention to detail and community-focused approach set us apart in delivering unforgettable events.
At Kraft und Licht, we have a strong foundation in external production projects, covering stage design, lighting, sound, and everything else required for the perfect event. Through renting out our equipment to event organizations and private clients, we have built close relationships within the event industry in the Netherlands. From large-scale organizations to upcoming collectives, our aim is to provide top-notch gear and support to everyone.
Krafthaus is the heart of Kraft und Licht’s operations. This industrial warehouse, located in Diemen, not only serves as a large co-working space and storage but also provides room for four music and video production studios. Throughout the year, Krafthaus hosts a diverse monthly program of cultural, educational, and social gatherings. From movie nights and workshops to courses and master classes, there’s always something happening. It’s a hub of creativity and collaboration.
Launched in 2020, Kraft Records is Kraft und Licht’s independent record label that focuses on progressive electronic music by residents and upcoming local producers. The sound varies from club-ready rhythms to detailed grooves. By focusing on underground talents, our label provides a platform for the musical pioneers of tomorrow.
Located in Amsterdam’s Oud Zuid industrial area, Kraft und Licht’s outdoor event venue ‘Hintergarten’ offers a spacious playground for art, music, and community gatherings. With a wide range of events including festivals, concerts, conferences, movie nights, and much more, Hintergarten is set to become the go-to destination for diverse program seekers.
